400ex right crankcase cover off. where'd this come from?

I'm in the process of putting fresh discs in my 2005 400ex clutch. This is my first clutch I'm doing myself and it seems pretty straight forward, except for one thing. A while after I removed the right side engine cover I noticed a small machined washer sitting on top of my skidplate. Its about 1" O.D. and I'm pretty sure it fell out when I removed the right side cover. Anybody know for sure as to where this came from?

Can't place it right off the top of my head as where it would go and I have had a 400ex down several times.

If i can't for sure figure it out when I put it back together I'll try to post up some pics. We all know its never a good thing to have left over parts when putting something back together lol.

i looked at it more today and now im pretty sure it goes on the reverse shift shaft right before the right side crankcase gets bolted on. glad i got that straightened out.
