    83-85 200X Bassani exhaust questions

I have a Bassani exhaust coming in the mail for my 200X. My question is which bolt does the megaphone bolt to on the rear of the trike? Is it the rear bolt hole or the forward bolt hole? The forward bolt hole on my 83 200x is a welded fubar mess.
If you have any pictures of how a bassani exhaust bolts on to a 1983 200x it would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Doug

I think it's the forward bolt hole, at least it is on one of my trikes....

I ran down to the garage and looked at my 1983 200x, with a Bassani, and DC is right it is the front hole. Take your time and put it on good and sealed up (no leaks) , I love the Bassani on mine. I have had DG and Cobras in the past, the Bassani is definately my favorite.

That sucks. My problem is that there is a post or something that the po welded a rear rack to. There is no threaded hole, and there is no threaded rod. Just a ugly post with a gob of weld on it. I guess I'll have to grind it flat, drill it and then tap it.
Its gonna be a booger I'm afraid....
