Question Looking at this exhaust for my 82 185s

    Saw this on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AIT&viewitem=

Does this come with everything I need to install it on my 82 185s? Will I need new gaskets? Or anything? Kinda new at this trike thing.

Got the same exhaust from the same seller for my 1983 ATC 185. the silencer part of the exhaust, where it bolts to the frame does not fit. it doesn't bolt up right next to the stock exhaust hole, i had to tinker around with it and got it on fine. its a good deal though and makes the 185 sound awesome.

o and you have to put a bigger jet in, mine was a 98 stock and i put a 100 in and it runs perfect.

    good luck

What did you end up doing to mount it? Some pictures would be awesome.

thats a good deal. got a "dg" for my 81 185s -fit no problem. note- there is a copper seal that goes between the exhaust port opening & the header. its is often overlooked. probably not necessary, but should consider it.it is not included with any exhaust.

danpalms15 If you could tell me how you mounted it, that would help alot.

I'd like to see some pictures too. The exhaust pipe on my 200 leaks and there is no shroud. I had to put screen around it so my grandkids would not burn their legs on it when I gave them rides.

all headers tend to stick out towards your legs alot more than stock exhast. you could always use header wrap.. but still. sorry no pics but i need a usb cable to tranfer pictures.

I'm still up in arms weather I want to put an exhaust on this trike. It's a great deal on the exhaust but if it doesn't mount up correctley, I don't really want to fight it.

u can get it to fit. may have to wobble out a hole or 2 on the exhaust, but it will fit.

You will more than likely have to jet the carb as well because it will out flow the stock exhaust so although this is not a big deal for me it might be for you
