they are strong but the chrome will flake off and they dont look as nice as most aftermarket axles but they are strong.

Do you jump? do you need strength? or ????

Any hub extension/spacer is going to throw the tire out of round in comparison to the axle. It's asking for the extension, the hole, and how it mounts to all be on the same plane..........

I'm a believer that they started the tapered lug nuts to keep stuff centered...
Nah DC.. I ride around like an old man.. I'm actualy thinkin about trading it in for a jazzy.

But that's what I was thinkin with the acorn nuts. surly it would center everything up more than the 1/4" (dont hold me to that measurement) SAE nuts and bolts I got now.

chris, in my other thread there is a link to that james luck site...he sells them for 249....which is high...but if he sells them...that means they are out there.

find a seller on ebay who sells them for another bike, contact that seller, and they can order you one.

or do like me....get the +4 axcalibur and the +? durablue billet hubs....and offset rims. lol.

I plan on running a G-Force Banshee axle on my tri-z project. I read and I read about axle choices on tons of forums. Its retarded really. It was just like talking auto manufacturers. They have these problems, no wait, they are perfect. Blah Blah Blah. You SIMPLY cannot beat G-force's prices. I bought mine for $150. Brand spanking new.

Wayne is correct. The chrome is not there strong point. It does flake off. Unless an axle is triple chrome plated and done by a reputable place with high nickel content. Its always going to flake. I don't care what brand it is.

The only other thing with G-force is the axle nut system they use. Its not your conventional system your used to. Its there own design. Its a 70mm nut. G-force sells these cheap junk wrenches. Read the forums. EVERYONE hates them. Destroys the wrenches and complains about keeping the axle tight.

So me being insane. I bought a 70mm slugging wrench. That's 2 3/4 wrench. Scored it on ebay dirt cheap. I will never worry about this axle loosening up.

Whoa! that's one bigass wrench you got there.. but your shock looks kinda stiff!

What's the deal with the adjustabilitly on these axles (not too familiar with any of them really) are they just diffrent size spacers you fit on before the rear hubs?

Yup. There are usually two spacers on each side (one larger than the other) and you move the spacer from one side of the hub to the other then put the nut back on. I usually narrow my X up when I go in the woods around here but its REALLY, REALLY tight here.

Only thing I could find long enough and a grade 8 was a standard SAE bolt. Even at our local fastenal store.. The bolts arent as thick as the holes in the spacers or hubs so when you torque them down its very difficult to get everything level.. You can hardly notcie the wobble on the trail.. but on paved road it gets kinda scary at speed.

i know its a totally different machine, but i have been running a 4 inch extended g-force axle on my blaster for quite some time now, and i dont have any complaints. hitting some pretty big jumps, some rough woops, and it hasnt bent yet. good buy for the price.

CHRIS200x=----------- i have a 300ex Lonestar +4 axle in my 350x. it works perfectly no problems. you need to use a 300ex sprocket and wheel hubs. you just reuse all your 350x brake stuff.

it was sitting all weekend at the Pennsyltucky ride since it would not start. you could have seen what to do. it is all bolt in.

so buy a G force 300ex axle and 300ex wheel hubs and a sprocket and you will be set. sell your 350x axle and hubs to get some money back. the 300ex sprockets are the same as the 250r 450r 400ex so eaiser to get also.

Hey Jay! where you been hiding? It just so happens I know where theres a 300ex with a toasted motor!

We'll see tho.. Kasey's custom exhausts have caught my eye now... and those spacers are so much cheaper.

    thanks for the info guys!
