    Are These Split Rims?

    1985 Auto X lots of upgrades
    1982 Honda 185s 3inch wheel spacers, bassani exhaust
    2001 400ex

    yes they are. the 4 exposed nuts hold the rim assembly to the hub, and the other 4 hold the halves together.

    Sometimes they can be tough getting them to seal when using tubeless tires. Make sure you clean them real good before you mount new tires on them.

    i used carpenters glue on the rubber orings to hold them down and they sealed very well

    Well started at 5 and had a dinner break in there. Took me 2 1/2 hours to fully demount and clean the rims with a wire wheel. I had one rim done in like 10min but the second one was rusted on the inside and took a while to get off.

    New tires hopefully coming tommrow!

    haha, typical, took me that long too, but I used silicone to hold the o-ring and as a sealer as well. My old tires where so bad, I had to cut them off.
    But they worked out great!, I actually prefere the split over the one peice, but they don't look as cool
