    what would you buy?

I'm looking to buy a new trail bike. Also want it to bee liquid coled 4 stroke
with a light for night riding.I like the wr line up,but they are a little pricey.also been looking at the drz400 but think it is heavy.I'm not really sure what size bike I should buy,I'm 5-10 and 190#.I can get na 03 wr
250 with 60 miles on it for $4,700 ,but not sure if it will be big enough.
the drz I'm looking at is brand new for the same price, but not sure if it
will be to much bike to throw around. What would you do? Buy the smaller
wr or the bigger drz?Or would you buy somthing all together different.

Any input would be very helpful. Thanks

the drz is a very good trailbike. it makes around 40 horses with the stock baffle which is pretty amazing since it's so quiet. yea its a bit heavy, but its a pretty compact bike so it hides it weight untill you start pushing it. and the springs are a little soft. the wr450 and 250 are nice, but to make them run right you have to take out the baffle or buy the gyt-r insert and grind down the throttle stop or put in a yz450 one.

Honda has some 4-strokers but not all are liquid cooled (air is more reliable though). I'd look at Honda and Yamaha, but thats me

i got a pretty nasty RMX. they are excellent woods bikes, and its pretty fast too, but its also modded to sh*t! go with a WR they are nice bikes, suzuki 4 strokes are heavy.

i ride with several drz's, i see alot of people switching to the drz after being on other bikes they love how they handle and the power it produces.

yzf 450 if you want a big bike but you will find if your terrain is tight you will like a smaller bike and if you want a 4 stroke water cooled yz 450f is a hard 1 to beat man it will suprise you I ride a 600 yamaha but find I can go alot tighter places on my kdx,s they are to beat if you want to trail ride and have plenty of power as I weigh 190 lbs. also. the kdx is a great trail bike but is a 2 stroke but pretty cheap and if you want torque like a 4 stroke you can get wieghts for the flywheel.
