Judging by the triple trees I would definitely say thats an aftermarket front end. You got Santa Clara, CA in the picture. Somewhere on that top triple is the name of the company that built it as well.
Or aftermarket triples to mount a Honda front end anyways. I think the frame is old air cooled 250R. May be a 200x frame but I don't think so.. Its a swingarm frame regardless.. It also looks like the cradle has been welded onto it.. It may have been an old 250R (by the tank) frame, with a xr500 or something cradle welded to it.
    My best guess,
OC, Vealmonkey.. what is it?? How close am I??

200x frame i believe from the chain adjustments on the front of the swingarm in the frame and not on the back like the air cooled 250r's ? maybe
    1-86 350x runs decent- stolen
1-85 350x rough but runs strong 80mph per gps
    1-85 350x completely restoring-frame blasted and painted
2-85 350x frames with engines messed up
1-85 atc 70 runs been in storage most of its life

The frame is 81-82 250r. Without a certain picture or a key part or 2 it's hard to say which year for certain, but the 2 years of the frames was slightly different. As far as who made the front end, Let's just say the maker was known for making sand cast aluminum parts, namely wheels. I can't give a better hint without telling you the makers' name.

Yeah, the tank is an 81-82 R tank.. So are the rear fenders. I wish I could catch a picture of what silencer exhaust may be dangling back there.. Is it on Ebay? Anybody have an addy for the auction?

Vealmonkey.. You got me.. I was just going to start listing things out of your profile.. ;-) A+?

The makers name is "PCCC" otherwise known as "Pacific Coast Cycle Corp.". They made tons of neat bits and pieces for the old trikes. Mainly before the advent of the 185 or 250r. These front ends were by my best guess the second big front suspension for the atc90/110 that hit the market after the rutt rider front ends. Being cast, they were a little heavy and they weren't the cheapest, but they had a nice classy-finished look that some of the machined billet triple trees lacked. Another must have product at one time for the stylish duner. I think I have one on the way but always room for another nice piece of history. These are the parts that I really look for and enjoy. This was before the 185 and the 250r and the 200x. It looks complete. It would make a nice front end for a 90/110 aftermarket frame. I'm still keeping an eye on it though.

It's on ebay and it looks like a stock silencer. I would post the auction for you, but do you want me to chew your food for you too? LOL Get on out on the web and do some surfing and some research. There are a bunch of neat goodies out there if you do some looking. I'd hate to tell you about the last couple of neat goodies and what I paid for them. It just takes a little looking around. Some people act like they didn't make trikes before 1981. What do you think they raced backed in the 70s? It wasn't 250rs' that for sure.
