The manual shows when to change everything when it's new and after you've had it for a while. (goes by hours) Changing it more often sure won't hurt anything but may not help anything either.

200xer is right. Your owners manual should tell you everything from shortcut problems to when your first oil change is due. I think it would be around first 6 hours? I'm not sure.
