    Question help, damn fedex

    okay I am trying to get shipping qoute, and they will not take my box. help? the item is a tri-z pipe..lol

    What do you mean? Their system will not accept the numbers you're putting in or when you went to the FedEx place they refused your box for some reason?

    they refused my box because it is custom made to fit the pipe...they want a giant square box.

    Try a different FedEx location. They are usually pretty easy going about it around here. I don't bother going to any of the local mailbox type stores, I go straight to the FedEx building where there are actual FedEx employees and FedEx trucks coming in and out all day.

    The fedex or ups around here usually charges $5 extra bucks for packages that are irregular. But I've sent stuff just wrapped in shrinkwrap with no problems...
