    1983 Honda Big Red Electrical port on handlebars?

    The outlet was for a 12 trouble light...i think there were a few other accessories for it but they are quite rare... my trx200 has the same port...

    I think you can wire any 12 volt accessory to them. Honda may not have made too many - but we have heated hand grips wired into my wife's 200ES.

    You can MacGyver a 12 v outdoor cig lighter on the thing too, makes it handy for a GPS or the like. That is the one thing that pissed me off about the port, it's honda dedicated. A more standard type plug would have been usefull!
