My friend has a 1985 kawasaki bayou 185 and is having problems with it.
It doesn't start up right away, for one and also it will die out on him about a half hour after he starts riding it then it will start back up and go again for a while before dying again! Anybody have any ideas??? thanks

Could be a couple of things. Dirty carb,airfilter,bad plug. Try any of those first. Hope it helps.

ok, I have cleaned the carb, tried running it without the air filter, cleaned out the gas tank, the only other thing I can think of is either the battery is too dead to run the fuel pump or the fuel pump works on and off.... is this possible? if it is does anyone have a fuel pump? thanks
