1980 110 Headlight help

as you guys know, I am in the process of restoring my 1980 110. today I put the headlight back on and went to hook up the wires. The headlight switch is missing and the last owner had the headlight wired up to come on when the atc was started. I can't remember how it was hooked up. can anybody help me here? the wires comming from the back of the headlight are WHITE and BLUE with a clear cover over the blue wire. the engine switch has a DARK GREEN wire and a BLACK wire. the DARK GREEN wire has two connections on it. the DARK GREEN from what I can tell is a ground. somebody help, I am not good at the electrical stuff.

6 views and no replies? I got a wiring diagram for the trike on my comp, but unsure of what wire I need for power and which one for ground. what is confusing me is the wires for the high/low beam and how to make it work without the switch.
