    tecate gas tank ?

    is there a place that make aftermarket tanks for the 86-87 ? mine is leaking from 2 places.

    the 2 bolts that hold the tank down between your legs..
    when i got the tank, there were 2 gaping holes.. from where the bolts used to be.. i ran a bolt & washer from the inside, and epoxo 88'ed it . and just sealed the other hole..

    i fixed the petcock leak.. the other place isnt leaking, but the epoxy is starting to peel a bit... like its not bonding to the plastic.

    Yeah, that probly won't hold. There really isn't much you can do aside from finding another tank.
