    Tri z 250 85 and 86

    Hi,Can anyone tell me what the Difference is between a tri z 250 year 85 and the tri z 250 year 86 please.

    85's had 5gears, 86's had 6. 85 1/2 also had 6. Other than that I don't think there was much difference.
    TF 07,08,09,10,11,12,13,14!

    front fork diameter are different, swingarm renforcment on the 86 model, tire size are different, coolant overflow bottle are located at different place!!!

    '85 1/2 a 6-speed? That's news to me. My mid-year black Z was a 5-speed.

    all 85's were 5 speed the 85.5's just look better in my opinion...
    86 350X

    the yellow one (85)was 5 speed ... the black and red one "5-speed" (85.5)was supposed to be the 86 and the red and white ones are 6 speed
    Yami (STOPPED) them unlike the "87" T-3 and 200X in 1986
    85 and 85.5 have 8" rear rims ... 86 has the 9'rear rims

    there is also a search bar....Also I believe some of the 85 1/2's had a 6 speed, some people where shocked when they clicked into 6th gear...
