the official "VENT" thread...

I know alot of guys here on the boards are going through some rough times. SO,, I'm making this thread so you other guys can vent as well... hopefully some of you guys have it worse than me.. at least it'll make me feel better.

Well, I've ran into quite a few major problems the last few days.. first, the house I was going to move into is uninhabitalbe because the carpet cleaning guy discoved loads of mold in the walls and under the carpets in the floorbards... then to top it off,, I blew my motor up in my car.. it just rolled over to 130k miles.. and I've only had it less than 7 months. ....and yes I've had the oil changed religiously since I've owned it. It's an o2' chevy cavileer.. which I've heard from tons of people they're supposed to be pretty reliable cars.

being laid off isnt helping matters much...(I have nothing to do all day!) I've also had at least one call for the past 4 weeks from the principle at school, seems my kid doesnt know how to act like a normal human being.

On a side note my trike is about the only thing that runs perfectly and gives me no problems at all.

I would give up all of my trikes if it would help my wife feel better. She sleeps 18 to 20 hours a day and seldom comes out of the bedroom. We started the ball rolling on getting her SSI but sometimes that can take years.

firehart, I feel for you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I can top Chris's rant ( lol ), how ever I'm not posting all details of my private life out here to the public. How ever here are some things:
The school ( 11 year old kid caused trouble ),
the kids ( getting bad attitudes ),
the court ( 16 year old caused problems now have classes for 15 weeks ), the wife ( very bad here, ),
the shop ( sold out my 1/2 last year including all 3 wheelers I owned. now I only help Pickle just to get out of this house ),
the job ( have been forced to take 2 pay cuts and also lost most benefits in just 2 months and then they shut down for this week ),
my health ( need surgery but can't afford it ),
my truck ( had to replace the whole rearend, and body falling apart, motor suddenly burning oil ),
Car ( has 262,000 miles on it and I doubt it makes 270,000 before something bad happens )
Trike toys / mags ( gone, no longer have them in my possesion )
house is falling apart ( no money for repairs ),
and I have a bunch of other stuff happening.

Spent 1 hour on the phone ( on hold ) this morning just to get my unemployment started.
Gotta go get a test done later today, the test is free, but the drive is 45 minutes to get there ( gas just spiked $.20 a gallon over night ).


The good side is My 11 year old still loves me and that is what matters.

DID A SMART BUY FROM GMAC ON MY TUCK. ITS LIKE A LEASE AND ITS DONE ON THE 16TH. I WENT TO GET ANOTHER VEHICLE BUT THE BANKS SAID NO.
THE COMPANY I WORK THROUGH WANTS ME TO SELL LIFE INSURANCE AND MEET A QUOTA BY END OF YEAR OR THEY SAY BYE.
MY SEPTIC THE BED AND I HAVE TO REPLACE THAT. 5500 BUCKS I DONT HAVE.
I HAVE TO COME UP WITH A CAR BY THE 16TH THAT MY WIFE WILL DRIVE. MY PAYCHECK THIS MONTH TOTALY SUCKS DUE TO PEOPLE NOT PAYING THIER BILLS WICH THEY COMPANY PAYS IN ADVANCE SO I HAVE TO RETURN THE MONEY I GOT PAID IN ADVANCE.

I think the economy is really just pounding the hell out of people.....

I was told I'd be back in "about 3 weeks" and that was 11 weeks ago.

Had to pay Union dues last night.

Had to pay a HUGE amount to retain health insurance, otherwise I'd have ANOTHER thing to be pissed about and couldn't ride.

I can't find a window for my truck anywhere.

The weather has STUNK the whole time I've been home and it's STILL raining.

My job pays great but I'm sick of it, it's like "groundhog day" every day BORING! (Guess I should be happy to get it back.

I'm bored to death being unemployed.

I haven't filed my taxes yet.

And, my cat threw up on my sheets I cleaned yesterday

All and all, with the amount I'm getting from unemployement it's not that bad; it's just boring.....

I just recently spent somewhere around 3 grand on my Chevy, with more to come. That damned check engine light will not stop bringing me more problems!

Ive got so many small debts coming in right now that are just killing me!

I have NEVER been this broke! NEVER! I dont have a dollar right now (litterally.) Luckily I made my mortgage last week, so thats one less hurtle to cross.

I will get by, I just wish I could do it a little faster.

I feel for all of you guys. Even your freshly cleaned sheets DC.(BAD KITTY!!!) I guess when this recession hit, the business that im in actually prospered to a point, So I'm lucky in that aspect. The only thing wrong with it is that the pay totally sucks. But I can't complain, It's steady work. I only have a couple of gripes, I'm getting an impacted wisdom tooth pulled on the 17th. and I'm not looking forward to it. And my truck needs some front end work. But with 208k on the clock, it's to be expected I guess

my rant is my own stupid fault after goat left this morning i forgot i parked the 250sx next to my f350 dually and went to swing the front end and rolled and wedged my 250sx under the front axle on my dually pickup..
