    If you wanna make a CR 500 rev...put an ESR CR250 ignition system on it, and it will scare the bejesus out of you how high it goes, TRUST me.

    You guys should get out to these neck of the woods where the Packard and Hybrid Engineering Honda's are built.

    Louis, I have no agreement with any of this, nor do I wish too, as I have said, the "theory" of the 500 is what people want because of its number.

    I have seen CR500 in a drag chasis with CR ignition. It was a 540+ alky buring machine...running 4.5's......that's not very fast

    Hey atctim can you show me some 350x monsters like that? I got some future plans but Im not sure exactly what I want to do yet. I just know I want to do a 350x based 4 stroke thumper!!!

    You'll have to get with Jason Hall - he is the only one I know that has done a 350X based modern thumper trike.

    do other electric swaps work on different bikes?

    meaning how much work would it be to use the much higher output 400ex stator cdi and electrical on a 350x motor?

    you could cue me in on the location of a competent post.

    The only thing i can find is from a few years ago someone swapped an aftermarket 400ex cdi.

    I'm looking for the entire electrical swap from another bike.

    Sorry for the post hijack.
