    84 200es -- adjusting carb for cobra exhaust?

    I just put a cobra pipe on my big red and it runs HOT. I know it's lean and I dropped the clip on the needle to raise it (does this sound right?). I pulled out the main jet to upsize but can't find one in town. Has anyone had to make this adjustment? What did you do?

    You need to go up on your main jet. Any air filter mods with that pipe?? That can make a differance too. Run Super Unleaded !

    That's what I figured. No, not yet but soon. What size is the stock jet? What size should I go to?
