1988 Big Red and 350X

First thing, sorry to have more than one thread on here, buts I got questions.

Anyways, now to the important stuff...My brother from Illinois called me the earlier today, said he knows an old farmer with a few three wheelers in his shed, he used to collect them he said. But Anyways, of the 19 3 wheelers in there, he said theres a 350x in a box thats never been assembled, so brand new, but more interesting is a big red and a 350x that he said reads 1988 on the frames tag. I told him he was full of ...but anyways, just thought I would make sure I was right. By the way, Im new to 3 wheelers and thought 87 was the last year.

1988 Big Reds do exist, but they are few and far between. The 350x is very unlikely, they were supposed to have been a few made in 1987 but none of those have turned up yet. I guess anything is possible though. Have him get some pics of the machines, year tag, and VINs.

i have a 88 big red they were only sold in europe and OZ nowhere else....as for a 88 350x no way .....last one that was made was a 87 which no one has ever seen apart from brochures....

Yep, get some pics of all 19. Of course, no way on the 88 350x, i even say no way on an 87 until someone proves me wrong

Ok, so I talked to my brother again tonight. He said he talked the old timer into selling us all his stuff (extremely close family freinds), but anyways, he told me that he wants $12000 for everything, 3 wheelers, spare parts, posters, shop signs and all other memorabilia he has. My brother says everything is mint, most machines havnt even had 10 tanks of gas the owner says. Is it worth it? Remember im new to 3 wheelers.

Farmer around here don't pack their shed with trikes. Their son's do (me) and they try to find a way to sell them cheap to make room.

i can belive the 350x still in box not asembled but not the 88 86 or posibly 87 i do know were a few bikes like that are in perfect condition with proly 20 or so bikes in a barn, chances are the guy wont sell or they will be extremly high. thats what i have run into but id like to see pics for proof.

but you are alredy beter off than i was i almost had to tell the guy he had them he wasnt wanting to say h said he sold out everything and i was like but theres a barn beside your house and i can see them right there n then he let me look, but priced stuff way expinsive or wouldnt sell. he had a bassani n supertrapp pipe for my x in good shape but wanted 300 bucks each rediculus
