Disassemble it, inspect it and measure the tolerances....
I haven't read of a "PSI" amount and how, when or where it's taken from an oil passage or line.
Unless it's in a real tight strong low hour motor, I would replace it if it's in doubt.

where can i buy a replacement pump ???
Any Honda dealer will have them. Buying online tends to be cheaper but then you pay shipping. www.servicehonda.com seems to be pretty popular around here. The 350x pump is a pricey one, just like the first gen 200x. Expect to spend just under $100.

^ The 350X pumps are discontinued. You have to get a 300EX pump and use the 350X drive gear. SWIGIN has gone over the swap a few times.
I'm unsure about the ,85 200X pump but my 86/87 pump is about 46$ and I change it on ALL my motors that I run. Cheap insurance![]()

I forgot how the online sites let you see the part and price and then tell you it's discontinued when you try to buy. Thanks for clearing that up DC.
