85 250r kickstarter and mstr cyl and silencer questions??

Here's the beginning.

The kickstart on this thing slips and the shaft moves in and out about 1/16th of an inch almost like a thrust washers missing but the covers nevr been off?? Do gears and return sprins fix this?? Big $$$?

And the rear master is leaking from sitting but very clean. Do you buy the seals and a piston or a kit from Honda or aftermarket??

The silencer is gone, does any aftermarket one fit the stock pipe?? and is there one that helps with more bottom end than another model??

Go w a complete LRD system.. or just a silencer.. it will bolt up..

lrd doesn't sell a system for a atc250r, I called last week and begged them to sell me one. they said they don't have any around and suggested me to get a dg system. I told the guy I have a fmf adn don't like it, now why would I get a even worse pipe. I ended up ordering a pipe from esr.

Yep bolts there, it's the shaft itself that moves in and ou like a thrust washer is gone or maybe something else in there gets worn as it's slipping. Someone has to have worked on it , Im sure it's just bthe gears. See, I like to get ALL the information BEFORE I tear into it which allows me to get either all or most of the necessary parts I'll need to fix it. Guess I'll just look foir good kickstart gears and return spring

You won't be dissapointed with the ESR Pipe. They are about the best in the business for ATC250R pipes right now.
