    new 200x aftermarket front axle

i was posting pics in my lathe thread in the open section and thought i'd post this here since some guys dont look in there.

i made like 10 of these back in the late 80s in my high schools metal shop. after breaking and buying a $75 new honda axle only to bend it with in months i made these out of tool steel in shop class and handed them out to my buddys.

i just gound the wrench end square and used an ajustable wrench to tighten them but these axles did not bend or break. the factory axle i broke busted right at the step.

i just found this and got to thinking back to my trike days so thats why im posting.....anyone else got pics of odd things they made?

Although I owned a few trikes when I was about 16yo (about ban time) I was still big into BMX and made my own vented number plates and stuff. I still have the plate, I'll have to take a pic!!

I took me until about 1998 to want a 250SX and in the 11 years since, I've gone trike crazy. The doctor said there is no pill or cure ...........

EDIT - I think the stuff you made then and are doing now are awesome : Shows you have allot of ambition and an eye for detail
