Can I drop a 200m motor into a 200e? If so is it a direct fit? I have a spare m motor and an e with a busted case thanks to a slung chain.

If there a difference between these motors?
Rob
the e has a high/low and the m doesn't.i think that's the only diff.
Signature pic removed, becuase of no helmet.
The only difference between the 200e and 200m motors is that the 200e has dual range, and the 200m dosen't. Both have electric start and no reverse.

I think I've got an extra left case for an '83 200e since I've slung a few chains myself, picked one up here and one from eBAY (maybe $30 each). May want to think about that before you swap out an entire engine. A new gasket and case and you mught be in business quick. PM me if you think you need one.....
