    new carb kit same problem.200s

rebuilt the carb with a new kit and still having the same problem.i can tighten the throttle screw in or out and it does nothing when running.i tried moving the clip on the needle up/down still doesn't fix it.i did all the proper cleaning to the carb, let it soak, gunk carb cleaner, high air pressure.i made sure i replaced the o rings and i use everything that was in the kit.anyone had this prob before and how did you fix it.

Throttle screw? What screw are you adjusting?

Does the idle ever change when you move the Idle Ajectment Screw? The only thing I can think of is maybe you are putting the slide in 180 degrees off.

Since you tried another KNOWN good carb, I'd also say check your air filter and make sure it isnt clogged

Adjust the mixture screw on the bottom front of the carb. If this is the second time this happened , the you are doing something wrong.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing it.

another question.could a weak intake valve be causing my problem.the guy that brought me the bike had someone attempt to rebuild it.they could never get it started.they bored the cylinder.i was also thinking that maybe the cylinder is to tight???

I think improper valve adjustment may do this. What is compression like? Leaky head gasket/Intake Gasket?
