    My 83 250R Project

Well it is far from done , but it is lookin much better already than when i got it. Right now i need to get my swingarm pivot bolt fixed so i can put the rear end on. Then its just a matter of saving the money to buy the bits and peices...let me know what u think.

Well i got the tank cleaned up and finished painting it.

Plus i just picked up this motor off from ebay for $330. Comes with all the electronics, twist throttle, kicker and shift lever. Not a bad deal i dont think.

I have some swingarm pivot bushings coming soon. Then soon as i get a new pivot bolt i can put the rear end all together. What do you guys think so far???

Well the descrption says that it runs mint and starts first kick every time, no scores on piston or sleeve and a very strong runner...so it better run well. Ill let you know how it works out and get some pics up when its in

Well i got the engine yesterday and stuffed it into the frame. I dont have the motor mounting bolts yet so i just stuck some smaller bolts in to hold it in place. I havnt started it yet but so far it seem just like the description...the piston and sleeve look good, good compression. i turned the gears over by hand and it shifts through all of them. The electronics work well...has a good strong spark. Now i just need to get ahold of some mounting bolts and find a head pipe so i can start this thing up. Honda shop want $50 for OEM engine bolts. I think ill try my luck on ebay.

instead of ebay, id try using a steel company, here in ontario we have Brafasco, i got all my engine bolts and even some of the smaller screws needed for my carb because the old ones were stripped, i payed 6.75 for all of them lol.
