Wow, that is one serious rotary. There used to be a Toyota Starlet that drove around when I was a kid that had a rotary in it and it used to do wheelies. Thing was sick! It looked like this-

wierd, I was bored at work this morning, still am actually, looking at engine swaps for the rx7 and rx8.

they make some SICK v8 swaps, which I'd usually snear at, but it actually lowers the weight of the vehicle and doubles the torque and hp

sorry to say it but I hate the rx8, its ugly and the motor is a tunned down rotary. Definetly killed the spirit of the rx7 when mazda shat that thing out.

I have always wanted an FD with a 350 small block in it. That style of rx7 is pure sex. There was a local in STL selling his unfinished rx7 with ls1 conversion, just needed to be wired up; motor was mounted drivetrain was complete. It sold for 11,000 and it was a red FD shell in mint condition.

Theres another local here that has an FC rx7 with a ford 302 with a shot of nitrous on it, i hear its quick.
