    400ex hubs on a tri z?

Anyone know if the hubs off a 400ex will fit on a tri z?

I dont think they will fit. I think they are the same spline as the 250R. However, if your goal is to run 4/110 rims on your Z, 200X hubs will fit your Z axle.

According to the james lucky catalog I have they both have the same amount of splines so they might fit. The 250r has 25 splines & the 400ex has 24 along with the 200x. If they fit let us all know. Good luck

I've had 250R wheels with 350X hubs on my Z...when I first got it I didn't have any wheels and tires. I definetly cobbed them on there and I wouldn't reccomend it.

The reason i'm asking is because I was thinking of using the tires and rims off our 400ex in the up coming atv drag races. I figure the 20 inch tires would be better than the 22's on my Z right now. I'll have to give the swap a try this weekend, i'll let you guys know how it goes.

Haha I said I didn't reccomend it. There was no welding or anything involved. And nothing was "injured" during the process. The Z got real rims and hubs like a week later, and the 250R hub/350X rim setup came apart and went back to the barn.
