Henry89, Are those go kart hubs steel or aluminum? If steel, have you thought of having them Tig Welded together for strength and guarantee no to come apart? Then I guess all you would need is to have you a spacer machined for the right side rear tire.

I bolted that 140 on as it came ,its my STP bike, ask any of the guys, it runs great, I did add an oil cooler, slot the holes in the intake till your cable will touch the frame and grind the fins to clear the carb bottom, I put a dent in the bottom of the tank with a then use a 3/8" spacer under the back of the tank, you will have to shorten the cable about 3/8" also, that will get you to the pegs, most guys put spacers between the and motor, I cut my pegs and move them out 3/4" to clear, I like the ground clearance, most of this is easy to see as you bolt things up, start with about a 112 jet , they say 100 is right but it is not even close with the Cobra pipe

The kart hubs are heavy duty aluminum. On the back side of the hub that is not shown is a hex head bolt that I can tighten on the spline. So with the spline key'ed and with the kart hub tighten down I think I'll have the strenght I'll need. As far as the off set for the right rear I could mount the kart wheel normally or with the valve sten inward towards the frame. I'll post pic's once I start assembly after powder coating.

Race Demon....so that I'm clear you used the intake and 22mm Mikuni carb that came with the Piranha 140cc motor? I was under the impression that people was using a different intake and 24mm Mikuni carb with the Piranha 140cc. If you did use the stock equipment that did come with the motor everything will become more clearer once I start assembly. I'm waiting on painting the tank incase I need to mod it a little for the clearance of the carb. Do you have any pic's of slotting the intake? Thanks!

We have done 2 pirana 140s right out of the box, Sorry i dont have any pics of the intake mod, if you snug the carb and intake together and bolt it to the head you will see your carb is out from your frame slot the holes at the head to intake so your cable is as close to the frame as posible, as you test fit you will see what I mean, don't paint your tank till you are happy with how your carb and tank fit together, test fit it twice paint it once

Thanks for the tips. I'm sure I'll have more questions when I get to this point.

Wow! This thing has taken on a life of it's own. It's been a while since I've checked it out. I have some video that I will post up from last month. I've been too busy lately to get it uploaded. I will soon.
I went back out again tonight and had a blast, as usual. I wasn't able to get any video. My camera didn't work. I think the internal battery is dead. We have some new people out there for me to run with. I think we will have several more good days left to race yet this year. Next week I will try to get out early so I can get a bunch more new video.

Here is a short video of Turbo on his 160. I believe this was taken on the 25th of October. He had just gotten it running and was out getting a few laps on it. I rode it for a while last weekend. It is a real monster. I had a real hard time keeping the front end down. He runs it in 3rd gear. I tried it in 3rd but it was way to much torque for me so I went to 4th and it worked much better. It was a real blast to say the least. I'll stick to my 74cc engine. It gets me in enough trouble.
