[20:55] <waterpumper> putting a racing pipe on a Foreman is like putting a high dollar bikini on a 400 pound chick...just because it fits doesn't mean it looks cool
Not really that clear...
Ride it like you stole it! And never look back! They are too far behind to see!

Give me no lip and I tell you no lie.
-TF 05' , And cant wait till 06!
Must be using a VHS tape right? If the tape is old and set in a space saving format you will never win. I have taken pics from DVD that look really good.
So if you want to tape using VHS use the best format available. It may take up more tape space but there will be more frames per second.
But to see trikes, any pictures is worth the effort.
nice job!

Post it at half that size, and that'll tighten up the image.
it looks alright you can tell its not a picture because its not as crisp as pictures are
the reason i'm asking, after 88/89 i stopped taking pics and took video's (mostly MX races + practice). i don't have a lot of ATC stuff only about 2-3 hrs. i've been experimenting with capturing pics. some of it is on VHS and some of it on 8mm. right now most of them are saved as AVI but this pic. is jpeg. do you think its worth it for me to do all this just to post here??? are they worth looking at???
and the blurryness is not because of poor filming...i'm just going 2damn fast...![]()

Bill,
Are you running the video into a computer with a capture card, or are you trying to take pictures of it while its running a tv? Theres some pictures that are gonna look bad just because of the lighting and the speed (I've seen it before with some of my homevideos). I'd try it, you might get some pretty cool shots.
By the way....why no fork boots?!?!?
i'm playing the video on a vcr freezing the pic i want (i use slow motion to get what i want) then capturing it with something called "snappy" and putting it on a 3 1/2 floppy. its not my computer or stuff so its all i got.
i never run fork boots on my R they just don't look right on it.
a 350X yes 250R no. some stupid quirk i have![]()
I agree about the fork boots not looking right on an R but...You got them on in your avatar, no?![]()

WOW i always thought is was an R sure dosent look like a X dono why just dosent
MrATC,
Ive done a lot of that too, and still images created from video never have anywhere near the same quality as a still image. Its too bad, too, because its nice to be able to advance a video one frame at a time until you get that perfect action shot. You can still get some good pictures from it, but not like images from a still camera.
