A few years ago, during the winter, my friend and I were riding along the edge of the Mississippi. He was on my Banshee, and I was on my '86 ATC250R. We were going pretty fast, you know, in case the ice was thin. I was sliding past a hump of frozen cattails. Not a full-lock side slide, but just a little sideways. I clipped the frozen chunk of mud at the base of the cattail and it bent my front rim. I didn't flip, but the front tire went instantly flat. When you are on snow/ice, and your front tire is flat on a three wheeler, you cannot steer (in case you didn't know that already).
It was not a fun ride home that's for sure.

Ya, I could. But I don't like the tire, it is too big and rubs the pipe when he front shocks compress anyway.

All the ones in the pics i get that once a month racing. You just hit it out and your good to go.

Ths crappy part is when the rim got tore up the tire was fine. I had to get off the track and when doing so it cut the sidewal of a BRAND NEW tire.

Just racing, I got the holeshot made it out front, In the second lap Second place overshot a sweeper turn and hit my backend, 3rd place slamed straight into my rim, Front bumper to rim.

    30-40mph turn

The 2 guys are good friends, I think it was planned, But who knows, THATS RACING!!!

i had to bend a rim back likr that on my trx250r while i was play riding.

the worst one was i bent i rim like that on my 82 toyota truck rock crawling. dropped off a rock ledge rite onto a pointy rock. took alot of BFH action to bend a chrome wagon wheel back. aired it back up and kept wheeling for the day
