    250SX Fork Boot Change

I need to change my Fork boots and seals on my 85 250SX. :?

Can I just take the top apart or does the whole assy have to come off? :?:

The forks will need to be removed from the triple trees. If the axle is left connected it will make working on it a pain. My advice is to remove the axle and and then do 1 shock at a time. The triple trees shouldn't need removed though.

As far as the seal change goes - SX forks are one of the simplest I've ever worked on. Takes longer to clean the parts than assemble them.
