You'll have to find it, but there seems to be some sort of dragging going on in the driveline...... Diff oil etc etc

I dont know if anyone remembers but my rear differential is filled with axle grease due to the previous owner had it serviced at a shop near baton rouge, la called T-racks, they were notorious for putting grease fittings everywhere!

Wait, the diff is filled with AXLE GREASE? Better get all of that crap out of it, and put some gear oil in it, 85w140 or something close.

ok first off why in the hell would a SHOP PUT BEARING GREASE IN A REAR END? are they just ignorant? it says right on the ousing what to put in it.

i would tear that thing apart and clean it out, replace your bearings if they are bad, i just did a rear end on a 250sx, and am doing another one right now. Dennis Kirk sells the diff bearing sets for i think it was $55 and they sell the axle bearing set for $50 both includes all the seals. unless you got a air you will need to take the diff to a dealer to remove the nut that holds in the pinion gear to get at the needle bearing for it.
other than the recommended amount of hypoid oil in the rear end the rest should be dry, i.e. the drivshaft tube, the left and right axle sides of the diff.
