Got the holeshot
Pull the petcock/fuel valve off and take it apart to clean it.
Next time you post it would help if you give abit more info like, what year, make, model you have and more detail on the problems.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing it.

and what they said. It is probably full of rust or gunk or both. It could also be the shut off valve if you have one.
