    350x extended swingarm oics

    Me and a buddy put 6 inches in my swingarm. hope everything lines up ok...

    what did you do to reinforce the swinger where it was extended??

    I used 1 by 2 thick wall tube, it slides inside the stock tube. Welded it all up then plated the outside (overlaping it) with 1/4 metal. Welded it all up and then smothed it down.

    yes i did, my buddy said their was was no need and I trust is judgement. Even though it will be my ass that wrecks for five minutes and not his.LOL

    sounds like you did a good job building it. Just looks nakid in the middle. Let us know when you get it mounted

    the reason i would consider a gusset across the middle,,,,, is now you are exerting alot more twisting and flexing on the lower shock bracket and its only held on by 2 bolts,,,, i would build a box section support ,,, the workmanship tells me you have the skills so do it and be safe,,,,
