Making a Flat Track Oval Track

I hate to bust in on a thread but, here is what we used to make our track in our back yard..We don't race trikes seeing that I'm the only one with one but, we race go-carts. We have 11 of them that we mess with. It's alot of fun and I even rolled mine over once and bent the hell out of the front spindle. Here's a few pics of the things we used to make the track
Just a plain old harrow rake that we pulled behind a quad


Heres a homemade rig that weighs close to 1,000 pounds that gets pulled behind an F250, and works pissa!!


There has since been some weight taken out of it...It's made out of about a 6 foot piece of I-BEAM, 3 brake drums from a city bus, which weighs close to 200 pounds a piece. And alot of boulders for added weight

i used a mini excavator and cuffed the topspil off mine and then just slowly rakes it out with small tractor and a york rake simialr to the one someoen just abme posted pic sof. then drag harrow it agan tand rake in various stages.

Yea, that's my back yard. We have close to 6 acres back there. Most of it is getting farmed by the locals in town. Big tax break
On another note, I forgot to mention on the bottom of that home made rig, there are 3-4 inch lenghts of re-bar welded to the bottom of it to cut the topsoil
