question about 200x front end plastic

well i have a 85 200x front end on my 250sx. looking into maier plastics for it, they have one on ebay for 86-87 model 200x. will this fit? or did they really cange the mounting? any help would be great

The mounting is different but you could make it work if you really wanted to. The easier route if you don't want a 83-85 200x fender is to use the 85-86 250r fender which bolts right up to the 200x triples.

thats what i thought, i like the looks of the 86-87 200x plastic better myself, but i want a bolt on. so the 85-86 250R will bont up to my 85 200x tripple no problem?

Just like everyone else said - easiest route - 85-86 R fender. I have one on my 82 300R frankenfooler - 200x front on 82R frame with 86 R front fender. Hehe

I have a 85 250sx with the 200x front forks and tripple on it...I used a mayer 250r headlight and a 350x front fender....fit pretty good...had to use some spacers to lower the fender a little......
