hey guys, i got my gasket kit, put the sub transmission and clutch cover on and now when i shift it all the way down to fourth, the shifter doesnt hit rock bottom like it should it keeps trying to find another gear. i havent split cases at all and i believe it worked fine before so what could this be?

when i hit fourth gear, it should stop but instead it clicks like its going into another gear, but its really still in fourth

Yea this has 4 moving gears, but
I get it up to fourth and i shift it again and it shifts but is still in 4th
