    My Grandma has passed away.

Some of you guys know she has been battling cancer for many years. She took a turn for the worse shortly after TF while I was at Rick and Dawns for the 4th of July race and I returned home. She was unconscious by the time I made it back. Its been a very difficult struggle for all of us seeing her in such pain and struggle. Her cancer was in the mouth and face and she underwent half a dozen major operations over the past 15 years to try and get it out. She's been so tough and strong through all of it. Her last major operation was about 4 years ago in which they took all of the jaw bone on ther right side and most of the nasal plate out. She's lived those 4 years since then on not much more then liquids and instant potatoes because she just would not give up. The fight that she put up for her will to live and her endurance to all of it has been phenomenal....

RIP Grandma, I'll love you always.

    -The baby grandson.

Sorry to hear that Billy. I recently lost a close Aunt to cancer - it isn't to loose anyone - but to see them struggle with such a body ravaging disease is hard.

You can only hope that they are now in a better place of peace and comfort.

You have a great group of friends here to call on if you need them - that says a lot about yourself & them. Take care.

Very sorry to hear that Bill, I have no surviving grandparents now and wish I had spent more time with them.... Sounds like you spent time with her though.

My grandfather passed last spring of cancer too, got very very thin and could no longer eat. So sad to see someone suffer that you love.

    Take care,

Wow, billy, I'm so sorry to hear that. I know that no one can really feel what you are going though, but I feel your pain. My one grandmother passed from heart disease and the other from cancer in the brain stem. It's so terrible to see someone you love dearly suffer.
I hope you are doing well, and I will keep you and your family in my thoughts.
