I don't see the point in registering in Mass either, unless we're actually going to use them.

What's all this hog-wash? I've had my bikes registered in Mass before and if I did pay a sales tax it was on stated value. Tell them you paid $100 for the machine and write up a bill of sale. Viola!

When I first got my old 350x registered in MA, I had a bill of sale with the sale amount being 1.00. I had to go to the cumby's nearby and get a money order for 5 cents.

I think it is worth it. Its a really nice place to ride. I would also take one more shot at not being registered there and see how it worked out.

With Mass it kind of sucks to get a registration.

This is the list of stuff you take with you to get registered in Mass:

    ATVs, Snowmobiles-Required Documents
1.Bill of Sale (name and address of seller).
2.Proof of payment of sales tax (ST-6 or ST-6E). Note - To pay your sales tax online, visit the Department of Revenue Website.
3.Serial Number (ATV- 17 characters, found on the frame).
    4.Required fees and payment method.
5.Properly completed and signed application .

    And then take everything to:
    Main Office

Boat, Recreation Vehicle & Snowmobile Registration Bureau
    251 Causeway Street
    Suite 101
    Boston, MA 02114
    Currently Own:
    1985 ATC 250sx
    1986 ATC 350x
    1986 Polaris Scrambler 250R/ES (P3)

First time, you have to physically go there I believe. I think DC recently registered in Mass, I spied a decal on his 350x front fork I didnt see before.

Come on DC, lets pipe up on this if you have some info for us buddy.

You can register it at the boat and trailer/ATV/snow machine registry (the other one is for vehicles, don't mix them up!) in fall river.

My frame came with a BOS but he didn't sign it. The tax man showed me and said "we need a signature from the seller" as he passed me a pen and looked the other way

You pay the tax at their computer, then walk to the office 40' away and register it.

It wasn't as much as NH but it's pretty much useless........
All our government does is distract us while they steal from us, misspend our tax $ and ruin our country

I'm down for the 20th. Been a little while since I've been there. Hopefully by then up have the 350 running top notch. Need an exhaust, preferably a supertrapp.
