Living in San Diego....which is nice.....but still dealing with the 20 billion people daily on the freeways, stores, eateries, etc......one can long for the more solitude life like your picture shows. I understand the weather and stuff but man.......I am TIRED of dealing with all the people and the crap associated with that.

    I'm jealous

^^^ I always say that I have a 4 dollar house and a million dollar view. The perspective from ground level is much nicer than any aerial photo can depict.
I don't know how people cope with the traffic in big cities. I went into a small city today and almost got smacked by some dude that was texting while driving. I want to install a rear facing airhorn on my truck to snap the textins back into reality. A lot of stupid people out there. Good thing that at least their PHONES are smart.

Well today I was hoping an ARD magneto for a CB550 could somehow be adapted to fit my 750F.......but there was no way.

I knew it was somewhat of a gamble when I purchased it but just like when I gamble in Vegas....I lost. Even rotating the magneto unit in various positions.....with the shorter arm I cannot see a way to get it where it needs to be. So I will keep it and wait for a proper mounting arm to pop up for a 750 SOHC.

Long before the internet sales of today, finding an ARD mag housing proved to be difficult, so in '79 I built my own housing.

That was my thinking if nothing presented itself but I'm sure with time....something will.

I have many trick parts for a potential 550 build so this wouldn't go to waste but if I decide to construct something myself I may seek some of your experience.

Super nice sohc.......supercharger and all. That's something that is ultra rare to come accoss

What are you doing today? Thread

Did some up high painting on a 20' extension ladder in the house. Touched up some walls. Cleaned up the garage and barn a bit. Mostly the garage. Barn still looks like a bomb went off in there. Maybe next weekend. Got the 350x ready for a ride tomorrow. Early am up to miller canyon. Gonna bring my extra fuel can and try and go all the way to bear flats. See how it goes.

Thanks Knappy. My OEM tank was junk. Dented and rusty. Held fuel but needed some major work. This was never intended to be a restoration so was a no brainer for me. Aftermarket it is and the IMS has weird lines. I try to update it with functional parts but still keep it looking old school like something we dreamed of in the 80s.

You are always welcome here, Bill. Provided you bring a good running 250ES or SX engine, or are willing to stack firewood...
