Without riding it and seeing it in person hard to say. For example what does the owner know about 2 strokes. A rattling jug might sound fine to him/her. Way to vague. Lousy pics for one. Never liked auctions with no close ups. Also email the seller and get the "story".

DO NOT send any thing to whats his face (dirt-face/crasher) here on the board. What a scum bag. He screwed (stole) money from me and screwed me on my ME360 and Hondaline 300R engine rebuilds.

I have a feeling the price is going to skyrocket at the last minute.
Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Well I won the auction but, I have gotten the following e-mail from the seller after the auction was over:

"hi im so sorry but i tried to cancel your bid but the bike was sold to a family at last minute"

So has anyone ever had a seller refuse to sell after an auction is over? What can I do about it?

    Thanks,

File a dispute with ebay. When he listed it it was a binding contract. Besides that I dont think there is much else you can do.

He should have paid extra for a reserve price then.

Yah, just didn't like what it sold for. Auctions are legal contracts. File a report with ebay to get people like this off of there.

Didn't daddio just have this same problem... with an aircooled 250r head??

What did Daddio do about it? Did he finally get the stuff he won?

I'll send him a message and tell him I'd love to buy that fire truck, but since you burned a friend of mine on a three wheeler I'll buy another fire truck.

I got the following e-mail from the seller of this 250r:

i had the bike for local sale also and it sold for 1,300..00. i was trying to cancel your bid so i don't understand why you would leave a negitive feedback i explained to you what happened i sold the bike a couple of hours before the auction was over. i would be grateful if you took off that negitive comment. my husband went to jail so i never used ebay so i didnt know how it worked so can you give me a break.my kids and i are just trying to servive while hes gone. thank you.

I then won another auction for a 1986 250r this weekend and now that seller is backing out of the deal also. I guess it is not in the cards for me to buy any 3 wheeler faster than my "Big Red 250es"
