I bought two endoros a gt 80 and dt 100 for a $175. I traded them both for a pair of 87 200X's. Sold 1 of the 87 for 800 and kept the nicer one.
I bought a atc 70 for 200 bucks. when I stopped at the gas station a guy saw it in the back of the truck, asked if I wanted another one for free! turned out to be a atc 90.
Had a lot of deal like that in the past. Jim

Traded some 400ex parts for our 1978 ATC90.

Traded a Banshee graphics kit for our 1974 ATC70.

    Traded a 250X for my 85 250R.

$800 ( If I remember right) for my original Banshee, that needed work.

Mosh did some motor work, and got my 2nd Banshee project as payment.

The rest of the machines are Mosh's deals...i'll let him post them.

I paid a $100 bucks for a 1980 Yamaha trimoto 125 that did not run, but I showed it to my buddy and he told me he had a neighbor up north that had one sitting in the woods, so we asked the guy about it and he said if we can get it out of the woods we can have it, so we pulled it out and put the two together and thats how I ended up with my trike.

Traded my 1973 Kawasaki F11 restoration project for my 84 250r. 250r had a bad motor and bad tires.

I had a ton of time and money invested in the F11 but knew I'd never finish it. Since it's such a rare bike (made only 4 years) no one wanted one that wasn't done!

Found my 84 125M (now sold) on Craigslist for $100. Guy bought a pair of them new for him and his wife. He rode his for years, she rode hers once. It sat in his garage since it was new! Needed a bunch of work due to sitting so long (tires, carb work, etc) but I tuned it up and sold it for a mighty profit. Probably the lowest mileage 125M out there haha
