Big thing is you got your machine back. Aside from the abortion of a spray job, it looks to be in good shape still, (nothing broken)

The paint WILL come off with a couple bucks and a little elbow grease.

Take it as a lesson learned and keep everything locked up good.

Im sure your scumbag cousin will get what he deserves in all due time.

People like that always fall victim to natural selection.

thanks for the tips, from what i hear, i beleive they will go as far as garnishing his wages(IF he ever gets a job), tax returns, etc here in newyork.. i know he wont just give it up willingly but in time ill eventually get it, as long as hes convicted thats good enough for me.. and hes not actually a "kid" i just refer to him as that, hes 20 yrs old... old enough...and this isnt the first time he has stolen from my house, small things last time and didnt press charges(should have) but now hes of age..
cops were supposed to meet with everyone today, me, his neighbors, the person he had tried to sell it to, etc and get all the statements/info together.. called once and dispatch said she would have him call..
.. i never got a phone call from em... but they did stop by his house today thats about all i know so far..

I would also wanna piss pound the loser, but from my experience I wouldn't touch him. He'd skate, and you'd be locked up.
"revenge is a dish best served cold"... Maybe wait a few years, let the emotions fade, then get yourself some justice of your own.
Or maybe let the system handle it, forgive him, and just pray for the kid. That doesn't mean you ever have to trust him of course.

well just thought id give a little update on the little punk...
turns out the trooper handling the case was transferd to a different department, so a new one was put on the case, and what do ya know - 2 weeks after a different(or should i say better) trooper took over the case, the little punk has finally been arrested friday morning and is facing 18, YES, i said 18!! counts of burglary, theft, larseny etc etc apparently the little prick has been doing alot more theft than what i even thought he was. there has been alot of 4 wheelers,dirtbikes,3 wheelers, a gator 6 wheeler and other things come up missing lately and they are linking atleast 80% of the machines to him (joshua bender) and his buddy "turtle" (real name is something sacrin, forgot first name) they have recoverd a total of 7 machines so far from his woods(yes the same woods where mine was recoverd 2 months ago, IDIOT!) and his friends woods down the street from him. atleast 6 felonys so far and they were just getting started. needless to say that really made my day! even tho i wont be getting any money for a long time(if ever) since he probably has around 40-50 grand in restitution to pay out i dont even care about that anymore, im just glad hes where he belongs right now as i type this! they picked them up on friday and you cant get bailed out on the weekend, so he is there until atleast monday when his mom is going to go put her house on the line to make his $25,000 bond. she deserves whatever she gets as well since she is just as crooked and raised him, and his brother to be the way they are, when it comes right down to it, its actually not his fault, its HERS.
im done ranting now, thanks for allowing me a space to do so
cant wait to see him standing in front of the judge when i go to his courtdate!

Glad things are turining for the good. Did i read this correct? It was your cousin?? What a douche!
My cousin went on a drinking binge a few years back and stole my YTM200. I noticed it missing the next morning and reported it stolen. About a week later he calls me and says "I have your 3 wheeler at my house" "I needed a ride home i was drunk" He rode it across town, across a busy highway to his house drunk in the middle of the night. I was so pissed....I think the police still think that its stolen, i never did tell them i got it back.
