and so it begins my 350x build with much better pics

this is not a restoration but a build the way i want it. everything is new or rebuilt,
heres a few pictures of the frame, swinger and motor,
the white 85 350x will supply the axle and various parts like forks, shock, bars ect.
the forks and shock are going out to be rebuilt this week, i would like to have this a roller in a week.

00s...... chomeoly framed 350 RX with all the goodies (thanks to my bro)
    2012.....Replaced the 350x motor for a 444cc YZ426

i had a local honda shop go threw the engine for around $900 it is pretty much stock just has a overbore, stock compression. i really love the 350x trikes for the kind of riding we have, the parts 350x has a 12-1 piston engine and it is very torquey but smokes, when my build is done the 12-1 motor will get freshened up and put in my trail 350x.

Watch for crate motors (for the future), I've never paid more than 900$ for the few I got...... But the timing is right now!

Be nice to watch the build, my OEM plastic should be here tomorrow. I'm super psyched to see what I get, but with his 100% feedback and descriptions I expect it to be just what the doctor ordered at a low cost

well a little progress tonight took the swinger and shock out of the parts x, of course the shock bolts in the swinger are frozen in so its a trip to my work shop for some heat.
parts bike also gave up many rubber parts like the shock resevoir rubbers and clamps. cleaned all the rubbers trying to make them look as new as possible, they actually look very good. tank and seat rubbers also looked great when done.
one question for you 350x guys, i have two diffrent x swingers, the diffrence being the way the brake caliber arm is attached to the frame what style is 86? one swinger has a stud for the arm the other has a mount farther back? thanks cattledog
