i have heard that a DT 200 head/cylinder will bolt onto a blaster motor and is kinda a saught after piece, anyone have any experiance with this? do you need to swap the cases with the water pump too or what ? any info from you blaster guru's on hear would be nice thanks.

its not just the head * need...you have to have the whole engine. there is a guy that sells water cooled heads on ebay though.

that water cooled head wont do anything...you need a water pump too, and the pic of the head on ebay shows the hoses going straight to the radiator...i think it just a crazy redneck trying to make his blaster faster....why even go through the trouble...just sell the blaster and get a banshee....

did you read about the scientific principal behind this head. his theory is actually correct and it does work without a water pump.

i've seen one on the macdizzy website.the cylinder and head bolt right up and i think they used the oil pump for a water pump. if i can find it i will post it up here

Personally id rather have a blaster than a banshee the blaster is lighter and way easyer to manouver and anyone who's tried both will probly agree that the blaster can keep up with the shee in short trails. In shortwindy trails i usually pass any quad with my blaster.

I think you just have a tool that works good for you. The Blaster would not be prefered by many others over a banshee.

Yeah banshees arent really good trail bikes. A lot of people ride blasters in our woods and they do great. Some kid has a banshee and hes always in the back of the pack. That on/off light switch powerband kills it in my woods. Nice quad though.

it mite be a couple years older then that 83ish. it's been 8 years since i raced my blaster. just a baby version of your IT465.

the IT200's have blue plastic and are enduro bikes. they made them to compete with the Kawi KDX's.

i didi a little resaerch and it seems that the late model wr200's, the dt's predecessor, has the same motor as the dt, so look for those wr's too!
