Yup there was a 200cc with reverse. I owned two of them. The 200er which had reverse and was shaft drive.

You bet there is! The one marked, "His" in my signature photo is my 200ERN with front and rear racks. It doesn't have high/low range but has reverse. First gear is strong but it also moves along quite well in high. If you click on albums you can see a larger view of mine. I have owned a few trikes, that's one of my keepers, they are hard to come by and are well made!

I forgot to mention, they came factory with 25-12-9 tires, maybe Yamaha's answer to Honda Big Reds???

alright cuz i went out and bought a 1985 Yamaha tri moto 225dr with reverse (correct me if im wrong) and i want to make sure that there's a 225cc engine in it but i cant find any stickers or labels telling me if it is a 225cc, do you know where these stickers or labels will be, an other question whats the diffrence from a 225dr and a 225dx?? and theres another one. thanks for your help

alright i found where the engine serial number is stamped, now where would i input that to get the the specs for the engine

Displacement, not the serial number, should say 223.
