    Newb from Texas

Greetings, folks! I’m looking forward to participating in the forum and hopefully learning from your collective wisdom, maybe one day contribute some of my own. I’ve visited the forum for a while now (stumbled across it during a Google search).

I’m a child of the 70s and always lusted after a three wheeler, but I grew up in South America, where they were rare and expensive. Fast forward to this week and shift to central Texas (where I am now a proud US citizen), where I stumbled across a good deal for an ’82 ATC110 and brought it home. It’s not a basket case but does need some work, so I’m starting the research and trying to figure out what’s available out there as replacement parts, what’s available as aftermarket, and what may need to be fabricated or adapted.

I am relatively new to motorcycles (I also have a ’77 Honda Trail 50 and an ’03 Suzuki LTL50 for my boys), but I’m pretty handy with mechanical things and have spent over 20 years building/modifying/wheeling Toyota Land Cruisers.

Looking forward to some conversations, I will try very hard to search before I ask stupid newb questions, but a few might slip through! Please be patient, I’m a fast learner.

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the welcome, folks! I'm having a blast with this thing so far. It's going to need new brakes, an exhaust pipe (quite the example of "jury rigging", he, he!), and I need to open the transmission, so far I can only get it into two speeds. It also has either a tweaked wheel, or a bent axle, left side.
