This is what happens when you dont do up keep on your Rear Diff Pics inside

85 250es Rearend. 1st off i knew I was in trouble when I pulled the drain bolt and nothing came out.... I mean not a single drop at all........

    Pinion bearings

Where the pinion decided it didnt want to live no more

More parts of the pinion bearing area

    Ring gear damage

I have a strong feeling this was caused by no lube, Or just the bearing wore out and no one cared to check into what was making the noise. Just use this as a reminder to check fluid and bearings on the diffs guys !
An F-16 turned the after burners on and banked HARD over my house, I ran outside grabbed my Bud Light and Yelled as loud as I could................

Ouch!!!!! oh man, i do not like this. I always changed with fresh Honda factory shaft gear oil in like once each year and always check, to keep them in fresh. I never drive my atc250sx or bigred in water o cross creekng either cuz i live in dry sand riding. so i don't have to worry about it

your looks seriously bady and already damaged, looks like you can get a full rebuild kits or get a nice used rear complete end and install them.

Sadly the case is messed up and the big red is really too far gone to put back together. It will be getting parted out in the classified section soon!

Lol love the square bearings. My 85sx had a shot diff when I bought it so I picked up a complete swinger from a board member rebuilt that one sunce it was reusable. FUN
