I was pulling the clutch's off my motor, which i'm rebuilding, and was going to swap out the centrifical clutch because it was slipping. When I went to take the bolt off the clutch, I noticed it wasen't that tight, think its supposed to be torqued pretty high. When I got it off, I noticed the teeth on the crankshaft were sheared very slightly, meaning the ruff edge thats supposed to be on the teeth is almost shiny metal. Also, maybe a 1/16 of an inch. maybe less on the front and back is rounded off slightly. Does anyone think this may cause any kinf of issue?

I have provided pics to try and help you guys see what i'm talking about. The first 2 pics are off another moter that I have that look good. The next 2 pics are off my motor.

Looks like it's LH thread....

I'd loctite the nut and call it a day. The splines don't look that bad, or you need another angle with the pics......

Bear in mind that your cent clutch is also the kickstarter go or no go internal clutch so hopefully it's good :beer

I dont see any problems with the splines either other than they look to have gotten hot at some point, probably from the clutch slipping. I'd also just loctite the nut and run it.
