ok, going to look at a 110 for the wife and in a year my oldest son to ride... the price is $400. the plastics are mint, seat is mint, both are original.. tank has a small dent or two.. and light surface rust on the inside... the only main problem is the guy says it needs a new clutch(which he has and is included). He said the motor runs mint no smoke and we can start it up and let it run, also we can pick up the rear so we can run it through the gears, said it just won't move when someone is on it cause the clutch is shot. anything i should be aware of? is it hard to do the clutch? any special tools needed? and what can i use to clean/seal the tank...

thank you guys... I know there is a wealth of info on this site. I did try searching 110 clutch info but didn't find anything... probably my own error in search terms..

My 1st question is how do you smoke the clutch that badly?? Wrong oil is my guess..

I haven't had to change one myself, but looking at the manual it seems really easy to do.

Send me a note in email so that I can send you the .pdf on that section if you need it.

i don't know what they did... yeah my guess would be wrong oil... the guy said it drove then just got slower and slower so they parked it..

Has to be 'wet clutch' oil..typically classed as ATV engine oil

the clutch is actually quite easy, get a manual and should be no problems

I have seen machines clutches get so bad they aren't ride able because of the wrong oil.

we took a yamaha warrior to the dunes and by then end of the day it wouldn't make it up any hills. thats with a manual clutch, wouldn't stall either, just turn the clutch
