Hey there's a cobra exhaust system for a 110 on ebay and I was wondering if anyone has a cobra on a 110, or any other wheelers and what they think of it

it helped a little on my resto, but it's garbage. it rusts in like 2 weeks. u should just buy my whole 110 with the pipe on it for $350 :-P

The Cobra sounds pretty mean on 110, I don't see any problems with it and i think it gives it a little more power.

actually i think i have my mind set on the DG, my friends cobra on his lt230 rusted out fast, and DG just seems like a higher quality, i have owned them in the past and they just seem better built, unless anyone has ever had a DG on a 110 and they suck (???) and know the cobra is better (???) im gonna get the DG.
anyone have any experience?

I know if i had a choice between a cobra and a dg I'd pick the cobra every time.

I have run the same cobra pipe for years on my built 110 and with a coat or high temp paint it still looks new.

I have also run DG pipes and currently have one on my RX...... I'd take a cobra over it.

IMO Cobra pipes are a bunch of junk.... Loud Junk...

what about a Basanni pipe, i know they made them for 110s at some point, does Basanni still make them? and what about these compared to DG and Cobra? i have 0 experience with Basanni. any comments about them?

Unless you have a built up motor it really dont matter what pipe you throw on a 90 or 110.

Even then other then sound I doubt you'll feel anything between them. Now, if you throw one on a stock motor it should run worse. My daughters 90 ran like crap with the cobra but my built 110 loves it.

i would stay stock if possible, do you want loud? do you want to have to rejet your bike? the paint burns off the cobra within 10 minutes its bare metal

im actually throwing in a high comp piston and a longer duration cam, im aware of needing good back pressure on the stock engine, but like i said im going a different route, im actually gonna post a thread on a piston, got some questions

oh and daniel, im looking for performance, loud or not. and somthing that will last, i have no problem painting the pipe after every ride, lol

What exhaust did you wind up with? I just ordered a Cobra and would up with the wrong header pipe. Going to return it. Did you get something else?

I have both a DG and a Cobra exhaust on my 79-81 ATC110's I like them both, I believe if you rejet them properly they work better than stock. Mine do. I also ported my heads and open the exhaust port up to the size of the ID size of the header, I have the cam DRATV sells with more duration. and I have a .50 over pistons, I been wanting to try the +4mm over piston with the 10to1 compression ratio. I have the piston I need to get my extra cylinder bored out. There 110's there fun to squeak every bit of power out of them and keep them reliable.

what about a Basanni pipe

I had a Supertrapp, then went to this Bassani pipe, sounds much better but have no way of gauging performance differences. The motor is a 110.

I do know that I love the look of this pipe and it sounds awesome. I am not sure if they are available, I doubt it, but they do come up for sale occasionally on the board, also may try EBAY??
